The strange thing about dreams

I am a dreamer--I mean, I'm one of those people who have dreams every night and usually remember at least snippets of them. I rarely have nightmares--dreams that wake me up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat or anything like that--but weird things do tend to happen when I fall asleep.

Here's one weird thing: whenever Carmel shows up in my dreams, he not a cat but a monkey. And while I adore Carmel, I hate monkeys. Go figure!
