I've been down with a cold for the past couple of days. I'm on the OTC stuff today and I feel like my head is filled with cotton, so you can only guess how productive I was at work. On top of all that, I got next to no sleep last night. First off, one of my neighbors just got a dog. A dog that howls. All night. Gee, thanks.
When the howls weren't waking me up, I was dealing with nightmares. You see, some people have snake phobias, some people have spider phobias and, while I also have those phobias, I have an intense fear of monkeys.
So, you can imagine my distress when I was watching The Amazing Race last night and there were all those monkeys! There were so many of them and they were not afraid of humans. In fact, the humans were afraid of them. Woah, intense stuff. I mean, watching BJ and Tyler puking up the crickets was a walk in the park next to the monkeys!
Unfortunately, I had horrible dreams about the monkeys...the were everywhere and they were climbing on me. They were attacking Carmel and they were HOWLING. Those dang monkeys HOWLED ALL NIGHT! It was absolutely horrible!
I don't know what that dreams mean. Maybe it means I shouldn't take cough medicine before watching television.

I only harbor an irrational fear of monkeys in red vests clanging cymbals together while wearing a fez hat. Although, Peter Gabriel's video for "Shock The Monkey" made me wet my pants in terror. (that's also where I learned what the word 'necreate' means)
