I've been absent lately, it's true. Most of that is because work has been busy and, when I'm not working, the weather has been nice.
But, there has been some other things going on. Most importantly...I am now the future Mrs. Studmuffin! Hooray! If you want the details on the wedding, email me as it is far too personal an occasion to put out on the web for just anyone to see.
However, what I have learned in the past few days is that there are times when the advice door seems to open. By that I mean, there are certain circumstances (an engagement being one) when anyone and everyone feels that it is their duty to impart their knowledge onto you. I appreciate it, I really do, but in the best advice I've gotten so far is, "Listen to what people say, but do what you want." You gotta love that!

You'll be pleased to know that I have absolutely no advise about weddings or child birth. Come to think of it, I have very little advise about anything, and no good advise at all.
