New things!

So, I've been bad about posting here...I know it! I do have a lot going on in my life so please bear with me for a while. But, one has to wonder...what should one do when they have trouble keeping their blog up to date? Well, start a second blog of course!

Actually, there is a second and there will be a third. One of the two main reasons I started this blog was to practice my writing. And, well, I'm an opinionated girl and I have lots of things to share! Two of my favorite things to talk about are books and movie. So, I'm going to start blogs for those two things so that I can spout off about other things here.

The first blog, I Paid Full Price for This?, has started. I'll update it as I see movies that have at least enough of an effect on me that I'll tell someone to pay full price, see it at a matinee, rent it or just not bother.

The second blog, which has yet to be named, will be about books. Once I've started it, it wil appear to the right under My OTHER Blogs...so pay attention!

Other things...I had a very enjoyable weekend! Chinese food on Friday night (yum!), Dim Sum Saturday morning (not so yum), a day bumming around with my friend, the Good Doctor, and then, today, running around a corn maze with the amazing kids in my youth group. I know not many people would volunteer to spend time with 6-8 graders, but these are really remarkable young people and I get such a kick out of them! Of course, when I'm a parent of children in that age range, I may not be singing the same tune!
