A quick post tonight...I'm still recovering from the strange phenomenon of humidity here in Oregon. I spent the day down at the Salem Art Fair, ran into some old friends, bought some soap, ate a Chi Yo...it's all good.
First off, if you've been following this blog for a while--or gone back into the archive--you know about my dad, the "Guberif". Well, the Gear Head sent me a link to someone just as fascinated with that strange saying on the roads of Idaho but chose a slightly more creative outlet than acting silly and spouting off "Don't be a Guberif!" The site, ironically enough, is www.guberif.com. Really!
Secondly, this landed in my email box on Friday afternoon from the mastermind of TofuPunk. It's a necessary read/listen for all women who think they've been on the worst date ever. You haven't. Enjoy!

I used to complain about humidity. Then I moved to Houston. Now I don't know what I was complaining about.
