So, I went off to see the coolest movie since Pirates of the Caribbean--yes, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean II! Fabulous movie! Go see it...unless you haven't seen the first movie. If that's the case, then see the first movie BEFORE seeing the second. I may shanghai Tofu Punk's idea of a Harry Potter pool and start a Pirates III pool.
Anyway, raving about the film is not exactly what this post is about. Before the movie started, my friend and I were talking about seeing You, Me and Dupree and I mentioned that I might need to have a drink, or three, before seeing that movie. Then, one of the previews was the Ben Stiller movie, Night at the Museum. Even though Zoolander exists, I'm still a Ben Stiller fan so I mentioned to my friend that we needed to see that one as well and she mentioned that she would need a drink, or three, before that film. It was then that we realized that Owen Wilson is also in that film (I'm not sure, but I think he plays a wax statue of George Custer).
And there was the truth...you must be drunk to truly enjoy any movie that features Owen Wilson. Really, isn't Wedding Crashers better when you're intoxicated?

Rumor has it that ANY movie gets better in direct proportion to how much alcohol is in one's system. =)
Only the really, really ridiculously good looking people enjoy Stiller/Wilson films.
Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Owen and Luke Wilson, Will Farrell, they're like the new Rat Pack. You can't see one without seeing at least one of the others in a film anymore.
I heard Pirates II wasn't that good of a movie. People said it just dragged on and on. But, I haven't seen it yet so I can't judge it.
