The doctor says...

So, I went to the doctor this week and she had only 2 things to say to me. First of all, I need to wear sunscreen and a hat. Secondly, I'm stressed out.

Really! I have unhealthy stress levels. Her advice: I should slow down my life whenever possible and I should take yoga. For the last 2 days, I've been stressing out over the stupid yoga. I've always heard that gym classes aren't great. There are yoga studios downtown but they are all not only expensive but also crowded. The closest one to my home does Bikram Yoga (hot yoga)--which I have done before but tends to be more expensive. The second closest is just far enough away from the MAX line that I'd actually have to, you know, drive there.

Ugh! I decided to start with the gym yoga--I know it's not great, but it's free (or, at least it's included in my gym membership). So, a week from tomorrow, you'll find me ohm-ing afterwork and trying to de-stress. Whatever....

Maybe you just need more stress balls around the office. I practically collected them while at Intel. ;o)

When I feel stress I kick a puppy. Wait, that would be wrong. Actually, when I feel stress I . . . drink more coffee? No, that's not it. Oh, I don't visit the doctor! See, if the doctor were to tell me that I had too much stress, then I'd stress out about that, too. There's no bottom to that hole . . .
